How it works:
Like existing wave energy converter technologies Adaptive Displacement employs a surface float to capture the energy of passing waves
Unlike existing technologies Adaptive Displacement utilises configurable and modular Displacement Adapters to actively change the displacement of that surface float as it is moved by each incident wave
This adaptation of displacement forces every wave to lift the surface float not just once, but twice, enabling the float to capture enough energy to move twice the height of each and every wave
Providing a breakthrough solution for harnessing reliable and economically competitive zero carbon power production from our worlds oceans
